TODAY IS SUNDAY: MORE LIVES THREATENED (Part I)

A day like Sunday is suppose to be for Thanksgiving , celebration and jollytainment. But this might not be the case for our brothers in Lagos and even NIGERIA at large due to the outbreak of the COVID-19.

You may have come across that quote;  AFRICANS ARE NOTORIOUSLY RELIGIOUS.
I tell you solemly I cannot help but agree. As amist the treathening COVID-19 plague in our world, religions leaders in high risk areas like Lagos, Abuja... still feel comfortable carrying out there normal activities endangering the lives of their followers.

THE FIRST OFFENDERS
I have always been of the opinion that Muslims are more devoted to their religion compared to Christians (someone should tell me if I'm wrong).
Reports have it that even the President and other major personalities attended the Jumat service on Friday even after the Federal government have order the restriction of public gatherings including religious gathering.
It doesn't speak well of working Government that can lead by example. This scenario was one of the claim people had in the defence of the COZA pastor who was under attack for insisting that there will be service today. (unconfirmed sources has it that it was later cancelled).

THE MAJOR PROBLEM
Reports have it that aside foreign trips into countries, the second major cause of spread of COVID-19 is due to religious gatherings.
